Rebecca Robinson - Principal/Designer
Rebecca has been crafting residential gardens from conception through installation and ongoing maintenance for nearly 20 years. She founded Robinson Landscape Design in 1994. Rebecca brings a deep knowledge of what works in the landscape over time. Her horticultural experience runs the gamut from plant propagation to retail nursery sales, from stone and plant installation to complex project management, from hand drawn sketches to CAD-generated master plans for multi-acre properties. She renovated and maintained the Healing Gardens at Cancer Lifeline and served as a King County Master Gardener for several years. She co-created an award-winning garden in the 2010 Northwest Flower and Garden Show. Rebecca holds advanced degrees in education and psychology from the U.W. and an Associate’s degree in landscape design from Edmonds Community College.

In addition to a keen eye for color and composition, Rebecca brings a commitment to communication and collaboration that result in gardens that reflect the needs and individuality of each client. She has created dog-centered gardens, children’s gardens, wheel-chair accessible gardens, healing gardens, bird and wildlife gardens, rain gardens, edible gardens….in styles ranging from modernist to Northwest to Tuscan country. Her greatest pleasure is to work closely with clients to create spaces that are completely them, that complement their home and neighborhood and that honor the larger environment.

"I want to thank you for referring Rebecca Robinson to me. Her vision was parallel with mine, and she saw the disparity between the building and the garden and completely remedied it. Now when I go into the garden, I feel this deep contentment inside me... it is really quite wonderful" - Sharon, Seattle
